So you are working on a plumbing project. You have this pump that you want to work well, and get water from point A to point B with no problems. You hook everything up and you get it going, but there is a problem. The pipe is rattling and freaking out. Why would this be? Well, let me tell you - you haven't installed your pressure pulsation dampener, have you? You will say no, what in the world is that thing? I will reply well, you will need it if you want to get this project working right. You need to install it to make sure that you are able to reduce the load on the pump itself, which could definitely be causing your pipe to shake around. You also may need it in order to make sure that whatever is on the other end of the pipe isn't going to be overpowered, as that can happen if your pump is off just a little bit. Overall, they are relatively cheap and will really save your bacon in the long run when you find that your pump has gone crazy and is threatening to ruin your awesome plumbing job. Remember, use a pressure pulsation dampener and your pump problems can be minimized.
